In the end of March microprocessor semi-automatic block system MPB was installed on the section Semey-Lokot of Kazakhstan Railway (JSC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy). This is the first implementation of semi-automatic system developed by R&P Centre “Promelectronica” in Kazakhstan.

One of the most important and large infrastructure objects in Russia - new Kuznetsovskiy tunnel on Far-Eastern Railway was opened on 25th of December 2012. R&P Centre “Promelectronica” took part in implementation of such important for the Russian economics project. Three new stations were equipped with microprocessor interlocking MPC-I. These objects have been constructed within modernization of the Northern lateral way.

Ceremony of awarding companies-winners of the contest for the best quality of the rolling stock and complex engineering systems was held during final board session of JSC “Russian Railways” on 17th of December, 2012 in Moscow.

The 12th international congress arranged by Signal+Draht publishing took place from 8th to 9th of November 2012 in Fulda, Germany. This year professional discussion of the European experts was dedicated to the development of signalling systems and technologies in perspective until 2025.

The 6th international science-and-practical conference “Railway transport signalling and telecommunication” and associated exhibition of achievements “TransZhAT-2012” took place in Rostov-on-Don from 3rd to 5th of October 2012. R&P Centre “Promelectronica” traditionally participated in all TransZhAT activities and became sponsor of such outstanding event.

International Trade Fair for Transport Technology InnoTrans 2012 has taken place in Berlin from 18th to 22nd of September 2012. Research and production centre “Promelectronica” participated second time in such a principal world forum for the railway transport.

On 19th of September 2012 at the InnoTrans 2012 trade fair for transport technology taken place in Berlin, TÜV Rheinland awarded the certificate for the safety integrity level (SIL) 4 to R&P Centre “Promelectronica” for their axle counting system ESSO.

Fifth Anniversary International Forum “Safety on transport” and fifth specialized exhibition “ExpoTransSafety” took place in Saint-Petersburg from 4th to 6th of April 2012.
