In the beginning of April microprocessor interlocking MPC-I and microprocessor semi-automatic block system MPB were implemented on Norilsk railway. Last year four other stations, one level crossing and some track sections there were equipped with microprocessor-based interlocking and signalling systems produced by R&P Centre “Promelectronica”. Specialists of our company did the whole range of works on system installation as before.
In April R&P Centre “Promelectronica” also equipped a special training class with MPC-I and ESSO trial stand on Norilsk railway. Such laboratory facilities provide well-timed and qualified training of personnel. By the way, it is the first MPC-I and ESSO training class arranged by R&P Centre “Promelectronica” in the industrial railways. Earlier such trial stands had been installed in mainline railways and universities only.
