Sverdlovsk Railway, branch of the Russian Railways, is a long-time partner of R&P Centre “Promelectronica”. Our new developments are often placed into trial operation at sites of the Sverdlovsk Railway. The wheel sensor DKU-M, a new development of Promelectronica, has been placed into trial operation on May 26th, 2017 at Yekaterinburg-Sortirovochny station. 3 track sections were equipped for the time of trials.
Based on a valuable experience with the wheel sensors DPV-02U and DKU, DKU-M has the greater reliability and full immunity to harsh climatic conditions. The improved design of DKU-M significantly expanded the area of application. It is also compatible with the various types of rails, including Russian rails (from R-43 to R-75) as well as international ones.
The upgraded design makes DKU-M greater than its predecessor. It is more user-friendly for railway operating and maintenance staff, e.g. there are no internal fasteners. Shorted connecting cables raise its operation capability and quality.
We continually seek to improve our products as to increase its safety and reliability and comply with the growing requirements to the railway signalling systems.
