Modernization project on Vostochnyi-Obmennyi Station, belonging to Borodino Transportation Directorate (AO SUEK-Krasnoyarsk) has concluded in October. Our specialists installed MPC-I Computer-based interlocking system to control 28 points and 36 light signals. The system has been put into operation to replace ARM ETs solution that was installed prior to partly modernize existing relay interlocking system.
ARM ETs was launched here back in 2019 and was a stepping stone in moving to a full transfer to MPC-I system. At the time, we replaced standard control panel with a modern station master terminal and a significant part of relay equipment was replaced by a computerized system with input and output controllers.
This year, as part of ongoing efforts, previously installed ARM DSP, ARM ShN terminals and ShTK cabinet were removed from the relay room of the station to a MKM Mobile Container Module. Now all dependencies of the station are processed by UKC Interlocking controller with a hot-standby feature. It is worth noting that this UKC hosts BCU-M-2 modules, which are made with domestic processing modules, which feature expanded BIOS and electronic lock functions that warrant a trusted boot of the software. All train traffic control systems are powered by our SGM-MS-20T uninterruptable power supply system paired with UPS units by Parus Electro.
Vostochnyi-Obmennyi Station is used to move barren material from Borodino Coal Mine. At the moment, four stations of Borodino Transportation Directorate feature systems made by R&D Company Promelectronica: Uralskaya, Ugolnaya-1, Ugolnaya-2 and Porodnaya-2/Vostochnyi-Obmennyi Yard.
