Novotrans Company Group launches into operation LUGAPORT multiprofile terminal in Ust-Luga Port in Leningrad Region. LUGAPORT includes multiple complexes for bulk and general cargo, as well as grain and foodstuffs cargo. Ust-Luga Port is the largest and the most deep-water port on the Baltic Sea.
Within this project, our company has supplied and commissioned MPC-I Computer-based interlocking system and ESSO-M-2 Axle counting system on UTT Station (Universal Trade Terminal). UTT Station is a dead-end port station, which receives the trains from Luzhskaya-Generalnaya Mainline Station (belongs to JSC Russian Railways). All operations were divided into three stages: in May, July and October of 2024. Now MPC-I controls 34 points and 4 more points is going to be added next year. ESSO-M-2 ensures track occupancy by 76 counting posts.
