Quality mark

On November 22, 2013 in Moscow in a framework of the 4th International scientific and practical conference organized by the Union of Industries of Railway Equipment  “IRIS and careful production –important parts of management systems development” took place an awarding of company’s leaders and heads - winners of  JSC “RZD” contest  for the best quality of the rolling  stock and complex technical systems.

The contest, established by JSC "Russian Railways" is  held for the fourth time. Its annual holding allows  to evaluate the effectiveness of activities aimed to the development of innovative products in the field of railway engineering.
This year,  R&P Centre  "Promelectronica" again received a high assessment of the quality of products being developed. Our company took the 2nd honorable  place in the nomination  "Diagnostic and control systems”  for axle counting system  ESSO! This is the second award of our company in this contest. We would like to remind, that the microprocessor Interlocking MPC-I  was awarded the prize. 
At the ceremony the prize to Igor  Vladimirovich Chuvilin, General director of R&P Centre “Promelectronica”,  was handed by Vladimir Ivanovich Yakunin, President of JSC “RZD”, and Valentin Aleksandrovich Gapanovich, Senior vice-president for innovative development of JSC “RZD” and the President of the Union of Industries  of Railway Equipment.

1st place – “Ural locomotives” Ltd.  for  freight locomotive DC with asynchronous traction motors 2ЭС10 “Granit”; 
2nd place  – Siemens AG for electric train  Desiro RUS  “Lastochka”; 
3rd place  – JSC “Kalugaputmash” for  the ballast leveling machine  РПБ-01.

Winners in nomination “Components for the rolling stock and infrastructure”:  
1st place  – “SKF Tver” Ltd. for axle boxes  CTBU; 
2nd place – JSC “Vyksa steel plant” for all-rolled wheels of high quality from steel mark “L” in accordance with TU 0943-202-01124323-2005 for the passenger coaches.

Winners in nomination “Diagnostic and control systems”: 
1st place  – JSC “Penzadieselmash”, group of companies CJSC “Transmashholding”, for fuel supply electronic control system  ЭСУВТ.01; 
2nd place  – CJSC “R&P Centre “Promelectronica” for axle counting system ESSO;  
3rd place – Bombardier Transportation (Signal) Ltd. for innovative solutions for staged and partial modernization  of railway automation and telecommunication systems on the stations using EBILock 950 interlocking.
